Meetings Jan 5 07

I met today with Sarah Ridge who runs the Northlands Park Cafe. She is going to be doing some buffet lunches + teas for various events and hosting the drawing + mapping workshops in the cafe. I then hot-footed up to Briscoes Primary School to meet Diane Pilgrim, the headmistress. Despite leaving home at 8.30am and expecting to get back tonightat5.30pm or so I only had an hour to see people. (I'm repeating myself aren't I). I had a very posiotive meeting with Diane. She has chosen Year 6 to follow the project and fill in the diaries. She also had the stash of flyers for Monday's Walk To School Day to hand out. We expect most of Year 6 to attend the Wildlife Walk on Jan 20. I also suggested they could make bunting for me as I hope to string this up for the Poetry Slam + Painters' Green events. Diane also told me thatthe school is creating a museum of their own so we agreed to use this museum to archive the five best diaries by Year 6 as well as the Pitsea museum for the other Top 5 Diaries.
